ANM or Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery

ANM or Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery is a short two-year course in nursing. Two types of ANM nursing is there one is under Indian Nursing Council, course duration of 2 years and other institutes, colleges, society and central government have 6 months, 12 months and 18 months of ANM courses and 6 months of internship. It is a short-term and job-oriented course. If you want to apply the govt. job then you must do ANM under INC-recognized colleges because state nursing council registration is compulsory for any Govt. job.

Eligibility Criteria –

For the ANM Nursing course, the minimum eligibility is  Class 10 pass and 10+2 from the arts, commerce, or science stream. The student must have at least 40% marks in the 10+2 examination and a minimum of 17 Years of age. Male or Female both types of aspirants can apply for this course. West Bengal ANM Nursing admission is based on the WBJEE entrance exam rank and counseling process and other states have a direct admission procedure and own entrance test merit list basis.
